In March 2022, the Old Sandbachians’ Association proudly handed over a cheque for £1,000 to Sandbach School Head Teacher, Sarah Burns.
This sum represented the incredible level of donations received by the association, in memory of two of legends of the school, the association and the town, Geoff Piggott and Reg Dunning, both of whom we lost recently.
The sum is being split two ways – £500 is going to the school’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF), and £500 is going to Head teacher’s Fund.
The Old Sandbachians’ Association would like to place on record its grateful thanks to all those who kindly donated, and also to Martha Hayes, PA to the Head Teacher, who cheerfully allowed us all to commandeer her office on the day!
